Amanda was Program Coordinator at Columbus North International School, a Columbus City School and part of the International Studies School Network from 2010-2013. She came to CNIS in its first year, and was fortunate to help shape the vision of the school and its unique International Seminar Program.
She created many community partnerships with local leaders, businesses, and non-profit organizations, resulting in the development of many programs and individual opportunities for students. She wrote and received grants and awards. She created dozens of experiential learning opportunities in the field for students both locally, regionally, and abroad. She was responsible for Community Outreach and ‘In-reach’, a liaison for the community to work with teachers and students.
