Tuscarawas County Sustainability Network

The Tuscarawas County Sustainability Network arose from the desire of like-minded people interested in sustainability and the environment to get together in order to affect change through education, workshops and activism. TCSN began in 2008 when Amanda hosted a public information session about a proposed coal plant, and drew together many attendees concerned about the environment. Many attendees expressed interest in having regular get-togethers, which Amanda turned into the TCSN. In late 2009, TCSN partnered with Kent State University, Tuscarawas Branch, to have a permanent location and resources for our monthly events.

In addition to keeping a monthly newsletter, TCSN was also invited to do an extended piece for the Times-Reporter for Earth Day, 2010.
